CURRICULUM ALIGNED AND PROFESSIONALLY DELIVERED
Schools often tell us that they know how important a digital technologies education is for their students, but that the implementation of a program is the greatest challenge.
ScopeIT Education’s Professional Development (PD) courses assist schools by building the digital literacy of educators, and helping teachers to establish their own digital technologies strategies and learning pathways.
COURSES.
NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
Teachers will leave our workshops trained with relevant and up-to-date knowledge on how to integrate and use digital technologies in their classrooms.
Course 1:
3D Printing and Design: Skills and Implementation
2 x 3hr sessions
Completing 1.1 3D Printing and Design: Skills and Implementation 2x3hr Sessions before 31 July 2021 under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 6 hours and 0 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum addressing standard descriptors 2.1.2, 2.6.2, 3.2.2, 3.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Course 2:
Programming and Planning for Digital Technologies: Beginner Coding
1 x 6hr session
Completing 1.1 Programming and Planning for Digital Technologies: Beginner coding 1x6hr Session before 31 July 2021 under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 6 hours and 0 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum addressing standard descriptors 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 2.6.2, 3.2.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2, 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
